Our work takes place with state of the art machinery and makes use of computerised management systems using the latest technology available. LB Precision is based in Royston, Hertfordshire, in our very own, purpose built factory. We are registered as an ISO 9001/2015 company.
Out sheet metal fabrication has long been a source of pride, being delivered for a wide range of products and business types. Our speciality is not limited to general sheet metal work, as we also perform precision engineering, create prototypes, small batches, production runs, CAD/CAM designing and programming for customers worldwide. Our Services
CNC Punching
Our metalwork division is built around the use of modern CNC machinery solutions, including a Nisshinbo HIT 650 which is equipped with 24 Multi-tool auto indexing stations. Special tools can be used with the punch to further enhance forming capabilities, which reduce the manual operations and streamline the process. This added level of efficiency allows us to be more flexible to meet and match our customer’s specifications. The machine works quickly and effectively with guaranteed repeatability.
Laser Cutting
Laser technology has brought to the industry an expectation of high quality finishes with little manual input. Our technology allows for minimal set up times, whilst our programming can make the whole production, from initial drawings to finished part, an easy and stress-free process.
LB Precision’s laser tool itself has multi beam functionality, with its strength being its ability to handle a wide range of metal types simultaneously, including both thick and thin sheet metals. This allows for parts geometry to be constructed in the most suitable manner, with the laser beam preparing everything for assembly.
CNC Forming
LB Precision use a six-axis system for accurate manipulation of metal being worked. With our capability to run multiple tasks alongside each other, the final product comes out as a high quality work piece, delivered in great time. Each of our machines utilises a library feature, allowing us easy access to project data, so you know that we are always working towards your specs.
